Who we are
This scheduling tool is run by Bennett Test Prep, an ACT and SAT tutoring practice in Cornelius, North Carolina. The software is built and maintained by Surphmore Consulting. This notice explains what we collect when you use the scheduler and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist or hold an account, we collect:
- Parent or guardian name, student name, email, and phone number.
- Student grade, school, and target test date, when you share them.
- Your session preferences and the schedule we build from them.
- Payment details, which are entered with and held by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use your information to build the monthly schedule, run trades and cancellations, send you email and in-app notifications about your sessions, process payments, and answer your questions. We do not use it for advertising.
How we share it
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the providers that run the service: Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and our hosting and database providers. We use Cloudflare to keep automated spam off the public form. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Students' information
We collect a student’s name, grade, and test date only to schedule tutoring. We keep this to a minimum and use it only to run the service.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit. Payments run through Stripe, which is PCI-compliant. Sign-in uses a one-time email link rather than a stored password.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to run the practice. You can ask us to update or remove your information by emailing us.
Your choices
You can review and update your contact information from your account, and you can ask us to delete it. Email andrew@bennetttestprep.com with any request or question about your information.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date above.
